As a professional, I strive to create a welcoming and positive environment for my clients. Clients must review my policies and abide by them. These policies are created with the intent of ensuring I am compensated and that my clients and I are safe.

Payment and Rescheduling

My preferred payment methods are cash or Zelle. Corporate customers must provide checks.

  • I require a non-refundable 25% deposit of the quoted session cost when clients schedule photo and video shoots. This deposit secures their reservation.

  • Full payment is due after a session is completed. Payment must be given on the day of the session (either before or immediately after the session is completed).

  • After a photo or video session is performed, the overall session cost, including the deposit, is non-refundable.

  • If a client is more than 45 minutes late for a session, I apply a $30 charge as tardiness may interrupt my schedule for other clients.

  • I reserve the right to reschedule client sessions for illness, personal emergencies, or severe weather incidents. If I cancel a session, the client’s deposit will be returned within 48 hours. I will also attempt to reschedule with the client to assist them with their video and photo needs.

  • Corporate clients must deliver full payment at least 3 weeks before the event.

Video/Photo Rights and Sharing

  • I ask that clients tag my social media or website when they post photos or videos. For example, please plug my website: www.joecardoza.media

  • I reserve the right to post photos and videos of clients on my social media and website portfolio. In photos including minors, however, I will always abide by the preference of guardians.

Safety

  • Clients are expected to arrange their own transportation to destination photoshoots as I will not drive individuals in my vehicle.

  • In all photo shoots involving minors (children under 18 years old), a guardian must be present to supervise their child.

  • Clients with pets are expected to bring a leash and other accessories such as a water bottle, treats, and other necessities for their companion.
