My policies ensure my clients and I can achieve amazing results while having a fun and hassle-free experience!
Payment
I require a 25% deposit of the quoted session cost when clients schedule photo and video shoots. This deposit secures clients’ reservation and is non-refundable.
Full payment is due after a photo or video session is completed. Payment must be given on the day of the session (either before or immediately after the session is completed) and is non-refundable.
Video/Photo Rights and Sharing
Clients will receive full access to the final edited set of photos and videos to download, print, and otherwise use for personal and commercial purposes.
Photos and videos cannot be altered by individuals other than the photographer by digital editing, filters, or other means.
Clients are expected to tag my social media or website when they post photos or videos on social media. For example, include the link to my website in posts: www.joecardoza.media
I reserve the right to post photos and videos of clients on my social media and website portfolio. In photos and videos including minors, however, I will always abide by the preference of guardians.
Delivery
I determine the timeline for delivering photos and videos on a case-by-case basis. I will inform clients of their expected delivery date in their invoice, which is given before photo and video sessions are performed.
I will update clients periodically throughout the editing process to inform them of my progress.
I deliver photos and videos on a shared google drive. I will email and text clients a link so they can access their photos and videos. Clients must download their photos/videos and store files on their own devices as soon as possible. I do not store photos and videos in perpetuity, so clients must plan to independently store files shortly after delivery.
Final Product Expectations
Wedding and quinceañera videos are highlight reels and no longer than 10 minutes in length. My pricing reflects the editing and skill required to produce short, impactful films.
Clients are encouraged not to request changes to elements of their video or photoshoot after an invoice is delivered. If a client requests adjustments to the length of video, number of photos, hours of coverage, schedule, or other aspects of the shoot after an invoice is delivered, I am not required to make these adjustments.
I am not required to fulfill requests for more edited photos than agreed upon. If more photos are delivered by client request, clients must pay for additional photos.
I do not deliver raw video or photos, which aligns with industry standard, protects my brand and maintains my standards of quality. Requests for “all or some raw or unedited photos and/or footage” will be denied without exception.
Scheduling
I recommend clients book their sessions at least 2 months in advance to ensure the availability of their desired date, especially if the desired date is in the busy season of May — August. However, I will gladly accept clients on shorter notice if my schedule allows.
If a client reschedules their photo or video session, especially on short notice, I cannot guarantee my availability.
Safety
Clients are expected to arrange their own transportation to destination photoshoots as I will not drive individuals in my vehicle.
In all photo shoots involving minors (children under 18 years old), a guardian must be present to supervise their child.
Clients with pets are expected to bring a leash and other necessities for their companions such as water bottles, food, and poop bags.
